I’m in the same boat. I’ve gotten way to many tables beyond what is normal. I attribute this to WooCommerce which I’ve dumped.
Trying a table cleanup per my host and the optimize is running on and on and on. This is Version 2.3.3
Any help would be appreciated.

In reply to: [Zeno Font Resizer] Text Title LocationNice trick, it worked. One last question:
What would it require to place a space between FontSize and AAA? FontSizeAAA currently.
Thanks again!!

In reply to: [Storefront] Remove “Add to Cart” buttonSorry, the code did not work in my instance. To remove the “add to cart” button I had to remove the item price and it went away.
Since problems with checkout, shipping apps and a whole slew of extensions used for a shopping site were not working well, in addition to the piling up of costs, I added a link to a 3rd party to further shop the product & for checkout. I added the price in the description and a link which opens in a new window to that site.
My site has a lot of content/reference articles so I added products because of the traffic I receive and some requests. This method simplified the process.
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] Sitemap at Google Stuck on Stupid!I’ve gotten a little action – a whole 3 new pages indexed. I went back over my All-in-One-SEO plugin and made sure my Robot.txt was ok, it was and that I’m not setting for noindex on pages I want indexed.
One thing I noticed in Google webmaster tools/search console is the colored graph (red/blue) shows less indexing than digging deeper. Make sure you look at your index status.
In your left sidebar click Google Index –>>Index Status. My indexing is higher. To double check do a Google Search – site:yourdomain.com. The total number of indexed site should match what you crawled what you found in index status. Also, this method will help specifically identify pages/posts indexed where you might discover something you want out of the index. Then use Google URL remove at Google Index –>> Remove URLs.
You will also have to double check your sitemap plugin settings to ensure it’s set up properly and not indexing pages/posts unnecessary such as a privacy policy, etc.
Also, remember the plugin for this site is not being supported or updated. Between the Yoast plugin and All-In-One-SEO I have found through varied testing that All-In-One-SEO is the better choice. It’s updated frequently and threads will be answered promptly by the plugin author. I went to the paid version and support is very fast.

Not much, none here, just some happy talk. Tried Google, nothing there. No one can actually answer it, the answer is always a non-answer.
Indexing non-existent. One new page in last month. It took pending to fall off over 3 weeks. The only way I’m getting a crawl is when I write a post and place it on my Google + page, that seems to generate a visit from their bot, otherwise dead.
I have a much bigger site (>4K pages) also. It crawled, indexed 1568 pages and nothing since then – over 1 month.
I also switched to “All-In-One-SEO plugin since the one pertaining to this post – google sitemap generator, hasn’t had an update for 11+ months and seems to no longer have support.
OK, I connected a page entitled “Newsletter” and have that in the settings now.
When I test subscribe that page now returns with the message I typed on the page.
1. When I confirm the subscription request via email a new window opens to the “Newsletter” page. This can seem redundant to the subscriber since they are seeing the page twice.
2. I tested 8 email addresses and some were showing confirmed on my “subscriber” page yet the email confirm link was never clicked. Someone might change their mind yet remain on my subscriber list.
3. For a couple of gmail addresses the confirm email was never received, and yes, I check the spam folder. I had to “resend” the confirmation and it worked. This needs to work the first time however.
Thanks,
Don
This doesn’t explain why after submitting an email the page tells you about the confirmation email but does not either return to the website, open in a new window or offer a link.
My installation did not fail the plugin failed.
Reaching out again, this time with Bing. Google is still stuck. I don’t believe it’s your plugin but I checked and yesterday no URLs were getting submitted so I submitted a new sitemap URL this evening and………
https://glasscottageantiques.com/sitemap.xml 2/25/2016
URLs Submitted 0 – 404 (Not Found)I’m using default settings. This is not my first rodeo, I’ve done numerous WP sites but this site has product – the only one currently so besides regular posts nothing is different.
I’ve had the people from WooCommerce check out the internals with some Google errors and they said everything is fine. But now Bing is coming up with the 404. Nothing getting summitted. Nothing to analyze.
Thanks,
Don

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Checkout Box "Your Order: Too LongThanks Mike, that did work. I hope a customer doesn’t become confused as when you scroll down the order box jumps below the billing details but I at least a customer choosing layaway can now check out.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Checkout Box "Your Order: Too LongOK, I tried to lengthen the footer but the “Your Order” box in the checkout page is fixed in size. I did go to full-width for that page but the “Proceed to PayPal” button does not show when I’m using the “Put It On Lay-Buy” button so a customer can’t proceed.
As I scroll all the way down the “Your Box” acts like an overlay within the checkout page. That box needs to be lengthened, I presume.

In reply to: [PUT IT ON LAY-BUY powered by PayPal for WooCommerce] Checkout Box Too LongWhere would I forward a screenshot? Besides, you said you tested it and are getting the same result. The “Your Order” box where the checkout information resides is at a fixed length and will not scroll. I widened the footer but this didn’t help.
The fixed box needs to be lengthened, I reported this to WooCommerce themes author and he told me to widen the check out page which I didn’t. That allowed the layaway options to show but still not the proceed to checkout button.
