In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Litespeed Cache plugin Conflict with Generate PressThe issue is with Load JS Deferred.
If I turn that off, all the functions are working but the site is still slow.
I followed the troubleshooting instructions and found three files in Network/JS/Console:
/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/cropped-google.favicon.png
jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=3.4.1
frontend-modules.min.js?ver=3.23.4
The top one is highlighted in red and has GET and 404 (Not Found) on the same line, and the bottom two have [Violation].
I added all three to JS Deferred / Delayed Excludes and used Purge All but the problem still remains.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Litespeed Cache plugin Conflict with Generate PressHi
Thanks for the speedy reply.
I turned off all 4 settings and the functions now all work, but ‘Performance’ on PageSpeed Insights on mobile has dropped from 95+ to 62, although Desktop seems unaffected.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Litespeed Cache plugin Conflict with Generate PressHi
Posting here as I have the same error.
I have deactivated each plugin and LiteSpeed is the one that is creating the issue.
When it’s deactivated, everything works.
When it’s activated, the first load of the home page takes a very long time, and none of my popups, buttons or menus work.
It’s the same on both mobile and laptop.
IIRC, there was a LiteSpeed update a few days ago.Okay, thanks.
Hi
Thanks for the info.
wp-cron is enabled and I added the line of code to the file but it didn’t help.
I contacted Hostinger and they said they don’t enable loopback connections so they suggested using the same line of code in wp-config.php.
I tried deactivating all other plugins and changing the theme – no change.
So last night I scheduled a ‘Daily’ optimisation/clean-up for tonight, installed WP Crontrol plugin, found the hook wpo_cron_event2 and ran it.
The optimisation was successful, as in the ‘Optimisations’ tab > ‘Status’ it showed last night’s date and time so I crossed my fingers and……tonight it seems to have worked. I’m not sure why, but I’ll take it!
Now in the ‘Optimisations’ tab > ‘Status’, I see:
Last scheduled optimization was at?13 June 2024 23:11
Scheduled cleaning?enabled?Next schedule:?14 June 2024 23:05
Success…so far. I’ll keep an eye on it.
One more thing, I don’t use the Images/Cache/Minify options in your plugin as I use LiteSpeed, so obviously I have those three toggled off.
I was still getting an annoying message in WP Admin though (I can’t remember whether it was from your side or from LiteSpeed), telling me that I shouldn’t use more than one plugin for caching so I paused wpo_purge_old_cache?and the message has stopped appearing.
Is it safe to do that?Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WebP working but not showing in Media Library or Dev ToolsSo it’s not working at the back end but working okay at the front end?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WebP working but not showing in Media Library or Dev ToolsYes, I realise the CDN/server and WebP are separate things. I’m only saying CDN because that’s where I can turn WebP on or off.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WebP working but not showing in Media Library or Dev ToolsHi
Unless I’m misunderstanding what you’re asking me to do, I think there seems to be some confusion over what my problem actually is.
To clarify:
When I upload an image into my Media Library and add it to a post/page, I don’t have to do anything else at the back end; I can immediately open the post/page from my website and using Inspect, I can see its size is reduced by around 60-80%, so I know the image has been optimised. The issue I’m facing is that since I changed from QuicCloud to Hostinger’s CDN, as you can see from the screenshots I previously sent, there are no details in the LiteSpeed Optimisation column in the Media Library, and even though the image has been optimised, there is no webp suffix at the end of the image URL.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WebP working but not showing in Media Library or Dev ToolsOkay, but the three images below those I have just uploaded have been in the Media Library since January and February and there’s still nothing in the LiteSpeed Optimisation column and they don’t have a webp suffix on the file name when using Inspect.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WebP working but not showing in Media Library or Dev ToolsYes, I know they’re not the same. I was showing you that the LiteSpeed Optimisation column has no information in it since I changed from QuicCloud.
