This is where the problem lies.

4.7.3 duplicates without problem.
4.9.0 is changing the structure.

We started with v4.7.3 and have recently updated to 4.9.0

The workflow in WordPress has not changed.
The problem occurs when the duplicated newsletter is saved – before any editing takes place.

We will stick with 4.7.3 in the short term.

The examples are representative of the problem.

The workflow is that an old newsletter is duplicated and then the content is updated.
The content is always static – the theme is not involved.

Just to clarify, when you say this ‘They have no to track the IP address submitted from‘ – do you mean they cannot track the IP?

Reviews will be added by individuals using a iPad – in the same building, over the same WIFI network btw.

Solved by editing the php file in question and swapping 127.0.0.1 for the IP of the server.

Solved – Server was running an old version of PHP.

Went through the manual setup as described here: https://www.iis.net/learn/application-frameworks/install-and-configure-php-on-iis/enable-per-site-php-configuration-on-iis-60-and-iis-7-and-above
