Actually, what I found is that the Sunshine plugin seems to send emails slightly differently than if sent from directly within WordPress or the plugin managing my email within WordPress(Easy WP SMTP).

When sending favorites to an email specified within the Sunshine plugin the email never makes it to a Hotmail address and only goes to the SPAM folder if it is a Gmail address which leads me to believe it is somehow being categorized a SPAM.

Here is the incoming Gmail input if an email is sent using the Favorites notification within Sunshine plugin:

There are a number of differences but the main thing is that the incoming source IPs are different(65.36.196.38 versus 204.12.102.46). The former IP is the webhost where my WordPress installation resides and I believe the latter is another host from my provider used perhaps for email.

Does Sunshine use it’s own email facility of some sort?

    Thanks.
