In reply to: blank pageIf you are not seeing any tables in your database, your WP site did not get moved correctly.
You may want to review Installing WordPress to confirm you followed all of the necessary procedures.
You might also want to speak with your Web host to confirm there aren’t any issues or restrictions that would cause a problem with the installation.

In reply to: Red crosses on right upper corner of imagesFirefox has the broken image link turned off. It is looking for an image here: https://works.extendio.ro/simplified/wp-content/themes/simplified/js/x.gif
If you can find that reference in your theme and remove it, that should solve your problem.

In reply to: transferring fifty thousand posts…To import from a WordPress export file into a WordPress blog follow these steps.
1. Log into that blog as an administrator.
2. Go to Manage: Import (or Tools:Import in 2.7+)in the blog’s admin panels.
3. Choose “WordPress” from the list.
4. Upload this file using the form provided on that page.
5. You will first be asked to map the authors in this export file to users on the blog. For each author, you may choose to map to an existing user on the blog or to create a new user
6. WordPress will then import each of the posts, comments, and categories contained in this file into your blogForum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Backing Up Website, best to to do itIf you are backing up your entire site then I would recommend and FTP client to download all of the files and phpmyadmin for the databases. you might also be able to get your host to create a zip file for you to save a little bit of download time. If you are just interested in backing up a wordpress install then you could always use search through these plugins to do the job.

In reply to: my wp site hacked what to doYou should be able to just delete the files and the database. You might also see if there is anyway your host can provide more information about the compromise as well. Have them at least provide FTP logs to see if that is how they gained access. Make sure when you re-install WP, you create passwords that are of a decent length and complexity.
