In reply to: [FAQ Schema for Elementor] Issue with the schema validation by googleI’m glad it was resolved. I didn’t know Google has a new tool, so thanks for that.
I just spent over an hour trying to fix this issue. Thanks for the fix but you should release a patch as soon as possible.

In reply to: [FAQ Schema for Elementor] FAQ widget doesn’t show anything?Hi,
Sorry for the delay in response. I don’t know why www.remarpro.com doesn’t notify me via email when there are support threads.
Anyway, to answer your question, please see my response to this other support thread.

If it still doesn’t answer your question, please let me know.
Thank you

In reply to: [FAQ Schema for Elementor] Repeated InformationHi,
The point of being invisible on page is that schema markup is intended for search engines, not human beings, and you might want to present the information differently.
For example, we have a blog post titled What is Responsive Web Design?. In addition to answering the question in the title, the article also talks about other aspects of responsive web design, plus a bit of advertising at the end.
If you search for “FAQPage” in the source code, you’ll find a FAQ markup that answers what responsive web design is, but it’s kept short in hope that it would get more clicks.
Using this invisible FAQ schema widget allows us to present the answer differently to search engine, without affecting the flow and readability of the article.
Search engines should know the information in the schema markup is there to help them understand what the page is about, and therefore you shouldn’t be penalized for repeating the information. This applies not just to FAQ, but also other markups like products, events and etc.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [FAQ Schema for Elementor] Works with categories?Hi,
Sorry, not in WordPress’s default WYSIWYG (TinyMCE) editor as this is an Elementor widget.
However, you could create a Category Archive in Elementor’s Theme Builder, then use this widget to pull dynamic content from your category for the FAQs.
Thanks

In reply to: [FAQ Schema for Elementor] Not Working ?Hi,
The reason why HTML wasn’t supported is because Google may not support all HTML tags. But I’ve taken your suggestion and added HTML support to the latest version of the plugin. Please update and let me know how it goes.
Thanks

In reply to: [FAQ Schema for Elementor] GoodSorry for the late reply.
I’m not sure why www.remarpro.com doesn’t notify me when there’s a support thread, hence the delay in support.
There hasn’t been any update because it’s still working as intended, and therefore doesn’t require patching.
Anyway, I answered your question in the support forum. The plugin is working and outputting the correct FAQ Schema code. However, it’s up to Google’s algorithm to decide whether to serve it as rich snippet in the search result page.
Thanks

In reply to: [FAQ Schema for Elementor] Not Working ?Hi,
Sorry for the delay. For some reason, www.remarpro.com doesn’t notify me when there are new support threads.
I checked the URL you provided with Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool:
https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2F3fhTpfwIt appears that your FAQ schema is coming through correctly. Whether Google includes that as part of their FAQ search result is up to them, and is likely based on factors such as domain and page authority, as well as click-through rate and bounce rate.
The same also goes for any other rich snippet, it’s up to Google’s algorithm to decide whether it’s included in SERP or not.
Thanks

In reply to: [FAQ Schema for Elementor] Is it compatible with “repeaters”?Hi,
Sorry for the delay. For some reason, www.remarpro.com doesn’t notify me when there are new support threads.
This plugin handles dynamic tags the same way other Elementor widgets do. I’m not familiar with JetEngine’s dynamic repeater but it doesn’t look like a standard dynamic tag implementation.
See https://docs.elementor.com/article/556-dynamic-tags
And if my assumption is correct, then I’m sorry to say it’s not supported by our plugin.
Thanks

I’m closing this ticket due to lack of information.
Chances are the FAQ accordion widget already outputs the schema, and therefore the duplicate.

Reply from SiteGround support:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting our Technical Support!
I reviewed your case and as I can see there are no limits on our end which would block the GoogleBot from crawling a specific page.
I checked the access logs and as I can see there are no logs of the GoogleBot trying to crawl a business-directory/page:
I checked if there are any logs for both trying to access pages such as /business-directory/page/36/, yet there are none at all. There are no logs for the bots even trying to crawl such pages.
With this being said I would conclude that the issue is not caused due to a limit on our end. Indeed, the issue may be caused due to an AJAX call or conflict between plugins.
This is why I would advise you to stop all plugins except the MembershipWorks plugin one by one and check after each if the issue is still present. This way you will find the faulty plugin which you can then replace with another one having the same functionality or you can reach out the plugin’s developers to review the matter on their end.
If you need any further assistance don’t hesitate to contact us again.
Best Regards,

Senior Technical SupportSo, Google was able to index the /business-directory/ page, but didn’t recognize it as a referring page for all the individual business listing pages.
