In reply to: Need security help. My links have been hijacked in search engines.Have you looked at the actual code of any of the files, like the header.php or footer.php, to see if there is anything out of the ordinary or relative to this affiliate links embedded in the files?
You may also need to look through the database itself. What I would do on the database is export a backup copy of it and open the dump file in a text editor like notepad++ and do a search for the URL of the affiliate link.
This may at least give you some kind of starting point as to what or where the redirect is.
Once you have isolated and removed any reference, I would create a new site map for Google, yahoo etc and update your site index.
I think I would also do a complete site security audit (password updates, security analysis etc) just to be on the safe side. Can your host provide any logs that may indicate unauthorized access to your blog and or FTP?
Good Luck

In reply to: FATAL ERROR from WP 3.0 upgradeWhat happens if you remove the taxonomy plugin from your wp-content/plugins directory?
Also, do you have any recent backups of your site/DB?
At this point, I would remove the wordpress-related-posts plugin from your plugins directory altogether.
It appears that that plug-in is not playing well with something in you WP installation.
You might try installing an updated version of this plugin to see if that helps but to be honest, you may have to remove indefinitely.
The good news is that there are 100’s of related posts plugins available to choose from.
Good Luck

In reply to: Have WP website, want seamless blogThis will require some basic knowledge of css, php, html and patience. You can tweak and adjust wordpress in many ways but there isn’t really an “easy” way to make you blog look exactly like your main site.
If your over-all goal is to mirror you WP blog to your main site you should break down all of the elements and address them individually. Specifics such as site colors, font styles, graphics, navigation, etc can be updated to look like your site using a combination of plugins, manual coding and a good starting theme.
You may find however that creating a blog that is at least a little unique to your site will help it stand out a bit.
Good Luck!

In reply to: My site has become enlongatedDid you add something to your stylesheet (CSS) file?
Do you have a backup copy of your site that you can compare any changes that have been made or possibly restore from?
Any plugins that you had to install first before you create the widgets? if so, have you disabled them for now?

In reply to: Permalink settingsAre you even able to see the permalinks settings at all or do you see that message before it gets that far?
You hear it allot but, if it is an existing install, try temporarily removing the plugins to see if maybe there is one that is having a hard time.

In reply to: Can’t install wordpress into root file of my domain please helpekaczkowski,
WP can be installed on IIS without to much of an issue usually. Are you coping the wordpress folder to your site via FTP or the contents of the wordpress folder to your site root? It sounds like maybe just a matter of where you are uploading the files to.Do you have any major reason for staying with a host that is unwilling to try to help?
Outside of the WP issue, i would really consider migrating away from your current host. There are many reviews here to help you find the right fit.

In reply to: Can’t install wordpress into root file of my domain please helpI think I would be contacting my hosting company if that is the case. Are you installing through cpanel/fantastico or manually. What about installing it in a directory and then just moving the files and directories to the root and updating the db/config to associate the site with the root location?

In reply to: Can’t Log Into Admin On New BlogTry installing wordpress manually. Maybe there is something going on with Fantastico that is causing the issue.
