Perfect, thank you.
Still not a solution, but thanks for the tip. This will make life a little easier.
I am having the same issue. On my site it breaks without making changes to categories. Sometimes I make a change to my theme options and it breaks. I find myself just randomly unchecking and checking the box everyday and saving settings. I have tried contacting Yoast on Twitter too, they don’t see to respond.
Ian, thanks for posting this. I also have seen other plugins working by giving the user the choice of the pictures within the post. The current process of pulling the WP Featured Thumbnail is really ineffective. I hope this one gets updated soon. Thanks!
After upgrading I was no longer able to access WordPress Admin due to a fatal error. I had to delete the plugin files via FTP.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function akismet_server_connectivity_ok()in wp-content/plugins/akismet/admin.php on line

I was afraid of that, I have 60 plugins. Where would I find the error messages?

In reply to: Previous/Next Post in Category?I think the code was provided in the above comments, but I can’t seem to get it to work the way I desire.
This is my current code:
<div style=”float:left;”><?php previous_post_smart(); ?></div>
<div style=”float:right;”><?php next_post_smart(); ?></div>
<div style=”clear:both;”></div>I have 3 custom individual single.php pages. One is a single-photo_of_the_Day.php. This post only applies to the category of “Photo of the Day” (ID-10). When someone clicks on one of my Photo of the Day posts from my homepage they are taken to single-photo_of_the_Day.php. How can I then ensure that the previous and next links only show posts in that category, even though they didn’t come to this page via a category selection?
Thank you.

In reply to: Previous/Next Post in Category?Does the new release make it any easier to control previous and next posts based on the category of the current post?
