Hi. I too would like this feature… for attachments in a page marked as private (password-protected, OoB WP functionality), if the page’s password has already been entered, use this to allow users to download the media files.

I should mention versions:
– WordPress: 3.8.1
– WordPress HTTPS: 3.36
– Gigs Calendar: 0.4.11
