This just happened to me. I tried to update Alexandria to version 2.4.6 with the same resulting fatal error message. Luckily, I had backed up my site using UpdraftPlus and I was able to restore my site. I will have to stick with version 2.4.5 for now, which has not been updated for months. I like the Alexandria theme, but it may be time to find a new theme.
