I was never able to figure out the issue but I found a solution. I activated the other custom post type plugin, created the same custom posts types, deactivated this plugin and everything is working fine on my site now.

So strange that one plugin works while the other doesn’t.

Okay thanks. I do have pretty good hosting. I’m not on shared. I’ll experiment with the plugins and see if I can find the issue. Thank you for your time.

I discovered what I did. I accidentally changed all november images to december images. I manually changed the date from 12 to 11 and everything is fine now.

Thanks for making the ad optional. I have increased my rating of the plugin from 1 star to 4 stars.

I wrote a review on my site linking back to the Flare WordPress page. Seriously, if you need the link-back to what the purple lighting bolt is linking to I would be willing to do that also. I just don’t want an ad on my site.

I wrote a 4 star review of this plugin a while back but have changed it to a 1 star rating.

I think everyone who is upset about the new update with the annoying ad should go write a 1 star review mentioning the ad.

Maybe that will convince them to remove the ad.

@thelaw84, I didn’t think about that effecting the count. That would make since.

Here is a stat that is not too encouraging for us users:

Daily downloads were around 100 to 150 a day. Since update with that ad, 1066 downloads on July 4th. This stat will not encourage the plugin author to remove the ad.

I like the plugin and would be willing to pay 10 dollars for it if the ad could be removed.

Maybe submit your plugin to Theme Forest?

I tried it but each one still gave me the same result. I still couldn’t click on certain things within the post.
