In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Facebook LikesYes, that is the widget I am referring to.
That option used to be available in the FB Like Box widget… I am sure it was very recently that I saw it! ??
Thank you for responding, Jeremy.

In reply to: [WP-Table Reloaded] wp-table-reloaded table dropping beneath sidebarTobias,
You were right. The first Amazon link was wrong.
I reconstructed the page, line-by-line, and that is how I figured it out.
Thank you for responding to my request. It helped!!!

In reply to: My sidebar is at bottom of screen. Why?carolyn99,
Wow. Thanks for responding!
I JUST discovered the cause of the problem. It was with some Amazon code in the first item on the page.
Someone else had drafted the page, and I had not checked the code first, so I decided to reconstruct it line-by-line, and that is when I figured it out.
But I am going to make a note of your solution (above). These sidebar issues keep arising!
Thanks again.

In reply to: My sidebar is at bottom of screen. Why?P.S. This time the problem is with two of my pages, not the posts.
The posts and other pages are showing the sidebar. It’s just these two pages that are not.
Very strange.

In reply to: My sidebar is at bottom of screen. Why?Carolyn,
I am having the same problem now.
I had this problem a few years ago, and the issue was the length of the title of one of my posts (too long). When I corrected that it worked.
But this time, I can’t figure it out.
Did you get an answer?

I must have got up too early this morning! I sent you the wrong page link.
The correct link is – https://www.pedalpowergeneration.ca/make-your-own-with-tables-plugin/
I am very sorry to give you the run-around like this.

In reply to: [WP-Table Reloaded] wp-table-reloaded table dropping beneath sidebarTobias,
I am having a similar problem at – https://www.pedalpowergeneration.ca/?page_id=825&preview=true – but as you can see, the right sidebar falls below the table.
I have added this code to the Custom CSS:
.wp-table-reloaded-id-1 .column-1 {
width: 50px;
}.wp-table-reloaded-id-1 .column-2 {
width: 50px;
}.dataTables_wrapper,
.dataTables_wrapper .wp-table-reloaded {
clear: none!important;
}Any suggestions?

Pleer,
Me again.
This is a little off-topic, but still related.
Do you know what www.remarpro.com uses for the subscribe to comments section, as seen below?
“This user should be notified of follow-up posts via email.”
Is it a plugin or a setting that I don’t know about?
Jan
Thanks again, Alex. That works.

Alex,
How do I allow comments on the main page only (and not on other pages)?
I have set individual pages to “do not allow” comments, and have disabled all the comment settings in Settings/Discussion, but Facebook Comments is showing up on all pages still.
How
Peer,
Thanks again. (You are very patient.)

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: User LoginClayton,
I am still confused. I have added a plugin (Subscribe2) for people who want blog updates, but I think that is different from becoming a subscriber to the site. Is that right?
How do I invite people to become a subscriber to the site?
I want to create a members area, and I know that plugins (members only menu plugin and peter’s login redirect plugin) will be useful for that, but I am not sure what happens before the plugins bit. Do I need to use the meta widget in the sidebar… or something else?
Sorry about this. I am sure I sound very confused.
Alex,
Is it possible to delete a Facebook comment as the owner of the site once it has been posted?
