I don’t know if this will help anyone, but I had the same issue with a client website, and it would only reconnect once I deleted the Worker plugin and uploaded the previous version (4.9.19).

I figured out the issue. Payment will not process with Apple Pay if there is a custom checkout field set to ‘required’.

The issue is still showing after updating.

A client of mine has this issue, and I had to roll her back to Thirsty Affiliates 3.3.7 to get EasyAzon working again. Not criticizing TA, as EasyAzon is very slow with updates, but just thought I would add in an additional comment on this, just in case other people also run into this issue.
