Could you give me some information other then “the button didn’t work”. I’ve tested in IE11 and everything seems to be working ok over here.

The shortcode has a ‘style’ parameter, setting it to linear should get you a grid-like layout.
Example:[sponsors images="yes" style="linear" size="medium"]

The plugin currently displays all sponsors from a certain category.
Multiple categories is definitely do-able and something I might add in a future update. The easiest way to accomplish that now is to add all the ones you want to display to a separate category.

Sorting is done by the value in sort_order field, and if that is not set by the date added.

Sorting was fixed in 1.5.

When you say show the category, to do you mean:
show the label (for example show that a sponsor is a gold level sponsor)
or
select only sponsors from a certain category to you can add a title or text above those sponsors

Neither of those are available right now. I’m leaning towards option 2 where you select a certain category and only show items from that category. What do you think about that?

For your second point: the sponsors are display by publish date, sorted oldest first. You can play with the publish date to get them in the right order. Not the best way but it works.

I’ve just released version 1.4, which now includes a ‘style’ option in the shortcode.

Could you try [sponsors images=”yes” description=”yes” style=”linear” size=”large”] and let me know how that works for you?

Hey donpro

The shortcode currently only does a list view and only has an option to show or hide the images, not the description. I’ll see if I can get something together for the the layout and the extra data and I’ll get back to you.

Thanks for the review!
I just tested the latest version of the plugin and the categories tab gives me the option to add new categories for my sponsors so something must be going wrong on your end.

I’d love to help you out so if you want to you can always post on the support forum for the plugin and I’ll see if you can resolve this issue for you.

You can use the shortcode [sponsors] with these options: images=”yes/no”, size=”small/medium/large/full”. Defaults to showing images at 25% width of the current container. You can also use the category option to only show sponsors from a selected category (for example: category=”slug”)

I just tried this again and I see that you can only do this on posts and not on pages, I’ll try to fix that as soon as possible.
