In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] 2.2.9 update killed my calendarI know this has been a while but…
Everytime there is an update, I still do it and then go and look to see if my calendar came back – know it’s kind of like clicking my ruby slippers but I really don’t have any other option so I do it.
I just did the 3.0.2 update and suddenly I have a calendar. Now the only problem is only one calendar is showing up. I was just wondering if anyone can help me figure out if I can get the rest of them to join it ??

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] 2.2.9 update killed my calendarI would love to just go back to 2.2.8 but I don’t know how to do that…
I really need my calendar working – it is a busy time with all the ministries starting up for fall.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] 2.2.9 update killed my calendarI haven’t used anything custom.
here is a link to my calendar page https://georgetownbiblechurch.com/calendar/It took care of it for me too. Thank you!
How do you revert back to 2.2.5. I would like to do that until they can figure this out. A blank calendar isn’t much good.
I was just made aware that the calendar is no longer working on our website. It worked fine before I did the 2.2.6 update. Now there is just nothing showing up – no hover, can’t even go to next month.
here is a link https://georgetownbiblechurch.com/calendar/You guys helped me get it working earlier this year so I trust you will have the answer again
Thank you so much! I figured there had to be a way. I love Form Maker!
I was planning to uninstall and start over this afternoon.
I was just looking through the documentation you mentioned under the FAQ tab. It says to make the calendar public. I checked our calendars and this is not checked – it wasn’t before when it was working. The only options when making the calendar public are either let everyone see all event details or only see free/busy. Our calendars were set up so people who looked at them on the webpage could see the name of the event, the time, and where but everything else was hidden. (We use the “description” for notes that are not to be public.) Before I uninstall, does any of this help? This is what is on my calendar page (previous link)
[gcal id=”5619,5627,5626,5625,5624,5623,5622,5621,5620,5628″]
When I went to “edit feed” for my first calendar, this is what I found:
<div class=”gce-list-event gce-tooltip-event”>[event-title]</div>
<div>Starts: [start-time]</div>
<div>Ends: [end-date] – [end-time]</div>
[if-location]
<div>Location: [location]</div>
[/if-location]that is not what was there last time I looked – isn’t that where I copied and pasted the calendar ID from Google?
I am so confused…@nick Young
It is a free business account
Looks like you are using the older shortcode. I would recommend updating to use the new shortcodes. ( https://wpdocs.philderksen.com/google-calendar-events/shortcode/ )
I finally got a chance to try this. There is now a calendar on the page but no events and it is preceded by lots of error messages.

(I just did the most recent update before this also)
Thank you! I think I can handle that.
I just ran the new update and still no calendar.
I don’t have any extra spaces.
My calendar settings have not been changed since they were working before.
This is what is on the calendar page:
[google-calendar-events type=”ajax” max=”500″](This page was set up by the company that built the site and I don’t get much/any support from them. I do fine with content but this kind of thing is a bit above me. Thanks so much for any help.)
I was getting the message “Some data was retrieved, but could not be parsed successfully. Please ensure your feed settings are correct.”
I changed all (10) of the feeds to the correct calendar IDs. I am no longer getting that message but there is still nothing on the calendars when I “view feed” and nothing – not even a blank grid – shows up on the calendar page on my website, just the title “Calendar”. I also followed the directions to create an API key just in case it would make a difference. Our calendars are on a free (not business) account but the id shows up in the format in the instructions.

In reply to: built-in audio player doesn't show up on pageI’m sorry, I understand the concept of what you’re asking for and it makes perfect sense to me. However, our website was built by someone else and I just maintain it so I’m not really sure how the whole theme thing works. I was just concerned with what the website will look like if I change themes. Won’t everything on it be messed up?
