In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Saving Failed.THANKS – as I just had the same problem, and was very frustrated and making no progress for a while. But it was an option in the Dreamhost panel, now turned off, and now my WP site works again.
Update, found someone with similar problem who said:
“Seems like this problem is common on people hosting the website on Dreamhost. Disabling “Web Application Firewall” on Dreamhost panel solves this problem.”
And that is exactly what the problem was. Turned that off and now it works as it should, and the site looks the way I want it to (using the slider works now)
I’d love to <insert primal scream>
But aside from that, I’m happy now ??
I tried it, but unfortunately same results. I think the “Saving Failed” is really the issue. And I haven’t found anything to help with that. Thanks though.
I’m thinking I’ll try one of those quick free WordPress test sites and see if the error can be duplicated, or if it’s just my install. It’s relatively new with only have two plugins anyway. Hmm.

In reply to: reduce padding above Cover block – “Saving Failed”Okay I will post it there, thank you
Ugh… so my site was basically killed because of a known issue.
I don’t remember just how gray the wp-admin page was but I’m kind of suspecting I couldn’t even “go to Settings > Permalinks”
Lucky I didn’t try this on my other site with hundreds of posts.
So are you going to fix it so it doesn’t happen any more? The best I can do is remove my rating for now, I guess, pending you telling me it’s fixed.
Umm maybe I spoke too soon… everything appeared fine, the home page displayed fine, but I clicked on an article and went to a 404, and the wp-admin page was blank… now I’ve been messing all day trying to get my site back, and just deleted it and reinstalling from scratch. I’m not SURE if your plugin did it – but that was the last thing I did before walking away, and after that it was inaccessible.
Could it be because the WP default post was already there?

In reply to: [Fairy] Is this nagware? No reply? I’m waiting to hear how I can “dismiss the notice so it won’t appear again”.
As of today it’s BACK. First thing I see when I look at my dashboard.

In reply to: [Fairy] Is this nagware?Okay. How can it be dismissed? The only option seems to be “Remind me later”.

In reply to: [SimpleTOC - Table of Contents Block] Missing something basic?Never mind. I had tried refreshing the post I was working on, but I had to close and open it again then the new block appeared.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] permalink is still the sameIt shows the new filename at the bottom of the Edit Media page under “file URL” correctly.
If I click the “permalink” it leads to a 404.
It would be nice if it displayed the right, new file for the permalink.
