The suggested links did not really Work for me. I actually tried them before posting the issue.
I the meantime I tried upgrading to version 1.7.17 and that sort of helped, but still not good enough.
Instead of updating posts taken 50 seconds it went Down to 25 seconds, but that is still way too slow when you edit a lot of blog post and pages etc.
So I’m back to having Sucuri disabled.
Maybe an option to disable it for admin interface while working on website in admin interface could be a nice option, unless the penalty for running Sucuri comes Down to let’s say 12-15 seconds instead of 10 (running with sucuri deactivated)
