“Markup” can mean lots of things, including HTML. So our blog authors, who are developers, noted the difference and when they choose HTML that is what they are expecting it to show on the front.

Hello, so I assume that you are not the developer of this plugin? That is why I posted this here… this is something the developer of the plugin would need to add to this to work.

Thanks for your efforts and looking into this though.

When you click on the html item you will see there is only one other block that it can be transformed into, which is the code block. What I am asking for here is for prismatic to be on that list. It would make total sense and make this plugin extra helpful. So if the html or code block could be transformed into the prismatic block that would be nice.

Yes, so essentially:

1. If I already have some html or am using the code block the first icon that shows when selected in Gutenberg, if clicked, will show me what I can “transform” it to. See a screenshot of some html code and see that in the dropdown I can tranform it to a code block or a few other items, https://dolbyiodev.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Screen-Shot-2022-01-10-at-3.16.40-PM.png
2. I have read that each block has to set what a block can be transformed into, such has paragraph to a heading, or html to code as noted.
3. Currently after pasting into gutenberg we have to copy the php code, then choose prismatic block etc. where tranforming it would eliminate this step if it worked.

Happy there is a fix… just had to rollback to 1.32.3 on a live site for a quick fix.
