Hi @hetaweb,
It is challenging to analyze an issue without having the right context about how the sites were set up.
We understand that you have a few sites that are impacted by some issues, if you want us to take a closer look at this, we would need to look into the logs of our plugin and possibly the system report. You can copy the log files from here:
– WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support
– WooCommerce > Status > Logs > select “woocommerce-paypal-payments…” in the dropdown and click on view.
Since this issue may or may not be related to the issue this ticket, we suggest you open a new thread or open a ticket directly with us on our?service desk.If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/

JamieHi @osheta,
The issue you are encountering is not the same as the issue this thread. You seem to have an issue with the final user confirmation settings instead.

JamieHi @pixelyzed,
If you have a staging site available, we would like to take a look at the setup.
It will also be helpful if you could share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the?
WooCommerce / Status
?section of your site. Once there, click on the?Get system report
?button and then copy it by clicking on the?Copy for support
?button. Please provide those log entries on our PrivateBin. After uploading, paste here the link, so we can review them in detail.

JamieHello @fads79 ,
Thank you for these details, we are checking internally with our developer on possible causes for this behavior. If you have a staging site available, we would like to take a look at this.

JamieHello @fads79 ,
Thank you for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.
We have identified the issue on your site, and it appears to be potentially caused by a conflict with your theme or another plugin. To determine the exact source of the problem, we will need to conduct a more in-depth investigation.
To assist with this process, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This tool will allow you to test for conflicts in a staging environment, which can help isolate the issue. You can find detailed instructions for using this plugin at the following link: Health Check & Troubleshooting Plugin Guide.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to resolve this matter. Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Is there a setting we must change to have an account created for new users ordering via PayPal with your extension.
It is likely that you did not have?
Require final confirmation on checkout
?checked, so buyers skipped the Checkout page. In such cases, the plugin may not always create a user account when the buyer makes an express payment.Best course of action would be to check?
Require final confirmation on checkout
?setting. The feature you’re referring to is controlled by the “Require final confirmation on checkout” setting within the “Standard Payments” tab of the plugin.
Let us know if this works for you.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Advanced Card Processing shows Save to accountHello @kds26,
Thank you for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.
This issue appears to be a side effect of a recent bug fix implemented in version 2.8.2, which aimed to preserve subscription renewal functionality even when gateway or vaulting features are disabled. We are actively working on addressing this matter. That said, as long as the Vaulting feature in the Advanced Card Processing gateway settings is disabled, no card would be saved, even when this option to save to account was checked during the payment.
We generally recommend staying on the latest version. In this case however, if this is impacting you in any way, you may temporarily downgrade it to 2.8.1.
Let us know if you have further questions.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Changing PayPal transaction detailsHello @head84 ,
Thank you for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.
By default, PayPal Payments sends the items breakdown to PayPal so the purchased items can be seen in the PayPal order. Enbabling this filter will turn off the functionality and leave the PayPal order with no items. Here is how to do it: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/wiki/Actions-and-Filters#disable-item-breakdown-being-sent-to-paypal
Let us know if that works for you.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Redirect after paymentHello @davidecho ,
Thank you for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.
Yes, it is possible to configure the behavior of the PayPal Payments plugin to redirect users to a specific page, such as the checkout page or the thank you page, after they complete their payment.
May we understand what is the reason you would like to skip the Thank You page and send the buyer back to the checkout page with an empty cart? While it is technically possible to do so, we would like to understand what was the reason behind this.
Typically the redirect to Thank You page is automatically handled by the PayPal Payments plugin. However if you wish to redirect to Checkout Page, you may need to implement custom code or use a plugin that allows you to modify the redirect URL.

Hello @thomassch,
Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
While there is an open ticket with our developers regarding this issue, we would like to clarify a few information to confirm that it is indeed the same issue. To do this you may open a direct engagement to us?via our service desk?if you want to share logs or the system report and don’t want to share that on a public forum.
Let us know if you have any questions.

JamieHi @mikeexx,
We are trying to see the issue from your site, but we could see the Apple Pay button. You are right, the last step to activate your Apple Pay is to click the Apple Pay button on your site.
However we did not see the above issue where you mention Apple Pay slides up for card details. Can you confirm this?

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Email from Paypal DigiCert Global Root G2Hi @jscmal,
The PayPal Payments plugin uses webhooks instead of the older Instant Payment Notifications (IPN) system. Webhooks can handle real-time notifications from PayPal regarding transactions and other events related to your PayPal account. So in your the case of your question, we do not see any impact using the plugin.
Let us know if you have further questions.
