Update:
I figured out what the problem was. I’ll report it here in case anyone else has the same situation…
Basically, I had accidentally configured my PayPal API credentials with “request certificate”, instead of “request signature”. So I had mistakenly thought that the certificate “fingerprint” was the same as API signature.
To solve this, I deleted (“removed”) the certificate from my API credentials in PayPal, and started the API credential process from scratch.
This time I made sure to select “request signature” (not “request certificate”).
A silly mistake, but not so easy to figure out what I had done wrong afterwards!
Anyway it’s working now!
Thank you for your support.
Ok great! Look forward to it!
Update: It seems that the new options to remove the letters and numbers in version 2.4.0 are not being saved correctly.
I mean, if I disable those options, then press “publish”, next time I log back in to my website Dashboard, those options appear enabled again.
I am using the free version of Quill Forms… is this a feature only available for the paid version?
Thank you for your reply. Ok, I’ve just found that option in the latest version. It works perfectly. Thank you!
Hi Kim,
Thank you for your reply.
As I mentioned in the original post i have already checked the troubleshooting steps from the article https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/security-header-is-not-valid/
“This error is from PayPal.”
Do you mean to say that I should contact PayPal about this error?
Ok, thank you for your prompt reply and for that information. I’m happy to hear that you have created a task for this issue… I look forward to hopefully having the issues fixed.
Thank you for this plugin and the work you are doing for it.
Best regards

In reply to: [BP Profile Search] Search form not returning zero resultsHi Andrea,
Thank you for directing me to that post.
Well, after a long time testing different configurations I found one way to solve the problem is to set the following within Paid Membership Pro BuddyPress Add On…
Non-member user settings >
Unlock BuddyPress? = Yes-Give non-members access to specific features.
All features = No
except:
Include in Member Directory = Yes
So this at least is one other work-around in addition to the solution you have linked here.
I leave this thread in case it helps someone who encounters the same problem.
Many thanks

In reply to: [BP Profile Search] Search form not returning zero resultsUpdate: I found the plugin which is causing the issue… Paid Memberships Pro – BuddyPress Add On.
It works fine with the core Paid Memberships Pro plugin. The problem only arises with the BuddyPress Add On plugin which integrates with BuddyPress.
My apologies for missing this plugin in my trouble-shooting steps.
So my question now is how should I proceed to find a fix?
Many thanks
Jamie
