Hi?Jacob,
I hope you’re well.
Just checking out if the troubleshooting steps helped and you were able to fix the issue?
Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards, Jamie
Hi Jacob,
I understand you’re getting server timeouts when Scrollsequence is activated on your site. I’m happy to help you out with this.
I can confirm that I’m not experiencing this issue on my test site, so it might only be isolated on your site.
Could you please check with your webhost if there are related PHP errors that’s in their logs?
Please also do the following troubleshooting steps and see if they help:
1. Update your Scrollsequence plugin (free/premium) to the latest 1.5.7 version if you haven’t already. We always recommend updating all plugins and themes to their latest versions to avoid any possible settings misconfigurations, conflicts or errors.
2.?Clear all your caches, including any “Used CSS” features to eliminate any possible caching issues:
- Browser’s cache:?Web Browsers – Clear the Cache
- Mobile browser’s cache:?Clear Mobile Browser Cache
- Caching plugin’s cache: (e.g. WP Rocket, WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache)
- Any server caching like CDN: (e.g. Cloudflare, Amazon CloudFront, CacheFly) You might need to reach out to your webhost to clear the server cache.
3. Check for a plugin conflict by deactivating all the other plugins (leaving only Scrollsequence activated) and then re-activating them one by one to know which plugin is the culprit.
4. Try using a default WordPress theme as well, like Twenty Twenty-Four with only Scrollsequence active, to see if you’ll get a different result.
We appreciate your cooperation. Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards, Jamie

Hi @greg3333
Yes, that’s possible as well. In this case, you can add the background images through the Content Editor in the Scrollsequence settings. The Content Editor allows you to enter anything in a classic manner using HTML or WordPress editor (see screenshot).
Please check our documentation for more details:?https://scrollsequence.com/documentation/
We also have a demo site where you can try your animations using the premium features for free. See:?https://scrollsequence.com/live-demo/wp-admin
Username or Email Address: demo
Password:?demo
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have other questions.
Kind regards
Hi @greg3333
I understand you want a specific layout for your animation. I’m happy to help you out with this
Yes, the layout in the example you provided is possible with?Scrollsequence. Here’s an example:?https://scrollsequence.com/
You just need to have a video or set of images that already have the exact layout you want (in your case, the bottle with background images). If you’re going to start with a video, you need to convert it to images so you can upload them in your?Scrollsequence.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have other questions.
Kind regards,

Do you have an example page that we can have a look at?
If possible, please also send us a screen recording or some screenshots showing exactly what you want to achieve.

Hi there,
?I understand you’re having issues with your Scrollsequence animation. I’m happy to help you out with this.
I checked that page and was unable to replicate the issue on my end (see screen recording).
Have you managed to fix the issue? If the issue persists on your end, please send us a screen recording so we can see exactly what you’re seeing. You can use Loom for this.
Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards
Hi Rohan,
Apologies, but we haven’t received any messages there from you yet.
What email address did you use? Please try contacting us through your? Scrollsequence/members?account under “Support” tab instead (see screenshot).
Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards

Hi there,
Could you please confirm if you have already tried doing the compatibility test and clearing all your caches as previously suggested??
If you haven’t done any of those yet, I highly suggest doing so, so we can see if one of your plugins or your theme is conflicting with?Scrollsequence and to eliminate any possible caching issues.
We appreciate your cooperation. Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards
Hi there,
Thanks for the update and link.
Upon inspection of your site, I can see that you’re using the “CSS Sticky” for the Position Sticky. Could you please try using “Javascript Sticky” instead and see if it makes any difference? It’s on the?Scrollsequence > Dashboard > Options tab (see screenshot).
Afterward, make sure to clear all your caches to eliminate any possible caching issues:
- Browser’s cache: Web Browsers – Clear the Cache
- Caching plugin’s cache: (e.g. WP Rocket, WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache)
- Any server caching like CDN: (e.g. Cloudflare, Amazon CloudFront, CacheFly) You might need to reach out to your webhost to clear the server cache.
If the issue persists after doing all of the above, it could be some kind of compatibility problem and the issue might only be isolated to your site as I’m unable to replicate the issue on my end (see screen recording). I’m currently using the latest version of the Scrollsequence plugin and the default WordPress theme Twenty Twenty-Four on my test site.
You could try deactivating all the other plugins (leaving only Scrollsequence activated) and then re-activating them one by one to know which plugin is causing the conflict.
Try using a default WordPress theme as well, like Twenty Twenty-Four with only Scrollsequence active, to see if you’ll get a different result.
Lastly, please answer the following to help further isolate the issue:
- Has anything changed recently?
- Did you update PHP or any plugins/themes recently?
- Were any plugins/themes recently installed?
Thanks for your cooperation. Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards
