I resolved this situation where I could not get into my wp-admin.
(It happened on a few sites where I use the plugin)

Basically I deleted, then reinstalled the plugin.

What I did: I went in the FTP server side, I deleted the instagram plugin folder —–

Themes > ‘my theme name’ > Plugins > Folder named ‘instagram-feed’

    I deleted that folder.
That let me back in to my wp-admin.

    Once back in to wp-admin:
Using the usual WP-Admin way, I reinstalled the Smash Balloon plugin from scratch. (which has it’s new name)

Then everything was fine. My site remembered the plugin settings. So I didn’t have to reconnect to my instagram.

The ‘new updated version’ of the plugin worked fine as usual.

    In closing:
This error is just one of those things. The trick was getting back into my admin. Probably more of an conflict issue with my theme; because not all my sites using Smash Balloon had this problem. Just one’s using a certain theme.

Whatever the problem, Smash Balloon had an update within hours. Solid plugin. 5 Stars.
