We received your Site Health information @phanord, many thanks for sharing. While there are no known conflicts with any of the plugins you have active, it’s very possible that one or more of these may be loading Google Library scripts on the main WordPress dashboard, impacting how Site Kit is rendering content on that same page. To troubleshoot this further, please follow the steps below:
- Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
- Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
- Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
- From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
- Check for the same error once more when visiting the WordPress dashboard.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.
Many thanks @greendroid. That confirms you do have all the required custom dimensions added. Next we’ll try to determine if the issue is related to a Members plugin configuration, or another plugin conflict. To do so, please follow the steps below:
- Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window. Please do so from a WordPress administrator account that is impacted by this error, one of the accounts you created above.
- Check for the same error once more. If the error no longer occurs, please enabe your Members and other plugins, one by one, in troubleshooting mode (don’t exit troubleshooting mode). After you enable each plugin in troubleshooting mode, check the Site Kit dashboard each time for the error. At the stage where the error re-appears, you’ll know the last plugin activated. Please share this with me.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you. No issues if you wish to take your time with the above, I can keep this topic open for a week.
Thanks for reaching out @phanord. It sounds like what you are facing may be related to the Site Kit widget on the main WordPress dashboard, with another plugin possibly loading the Google Charts library as Site Kit also does. To confirm that this is the case, please share the following:
- Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.??
- Can you confirm that the Site Kit dashboard loads as expected for you, when clicking on the Site Kit tab on the left of your wp-admin dashboard?
Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
Glad to hear it @colourinvasion. The next steps, to ensure you can view Analytics data within Site Kit, is to enable the Google Analytics module once more, although to visit your settings and disable the option for Site Kit to place the Google Analytics snippet (Site Kit > Settings > Analytics > Edit > Place Google Analytics code > Toggle off), as you’re using Tag Manager to track visits to your site.
I can also confirm that my visit to your site is tracking in Analytics, meaning you configured Analytics within Tag Manager successfully. Once you make the update suggested above, let’s see if the YouTube background video plays as expected.
Thanks for reaching out @faisalsaim. To determine more on this error, and ensure you can use Site Kit as expected, please share the following:
- Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.??
- When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser incognito window does the same occur? If so, please share any browser console errors that appear.?
Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Once we have this information, we can advise on this further. Thank you.
Thanks for the update. In order to add Google Analytics via Tag Manager, see this guide. After you added the tag and published the Google Tag container, you can connect this within Site Kit, via the Tag Manager module.
Let me know once you have that done and I can check your site to ensure visits to your site are registering in Analytics.
Completely understand @greendroid. Take your time, and ask any questions here in the meantime if you wish.
Many thanks for the review @whatsmusic247. Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I’ll be sure to pass on your mention of the UX/UI also. Thank you and best of luck with your site.
I’m just following up with you to check whether the error remains? If so please share the information requested above and we can investigate further.
As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.

Glad to hear that @steponme, nice troubleshooting.
How many accounts can a single account have? Shouldn’t the error be a bit more specific, if permission linked?
Agreed the error would ideally be more specific, however, I don’t suspect the error you’re facing is related to already having a maximum number of Google Analytics accounts. From previous tests, in such cases the errors are more targeted and specific. I suspect the issue is more related to something blocking or impacting the flow from Site Kit to the account provisioning page, which is a Google Analytics page served from analytics.google.com. If you do wish to perform some additional checks to see what may be occurring, you can see if the same occurs if creating an account within Site Kit on another WordPress site. Here’s a link to a TasteWP site, with Site Kit preinstalled. Feel free to check from there and let me know how you get on.
Regarding the amount of Google Analytics accounts a user can have, this is set at 100 at time of writing, although I believe you can have access to other accounts, that users may have shared with you.
Many thanks for sharing the additional information @steponme. It looks like this error may occur on a Google Analytics account set up page. Rather than going through this route, to test this further, are you able to connect Google Analytics within Site Kit by selecting an existing Google Analytics account and not choosing the option to create a new once?
Feel free to share a recording of your experience if you wish, so we can investigate further from our side. You can use a service such as Loom to share a screen recording, while using the same form previously used to share this privately.?
