It’s a bug in the plugin, but the fix is a simple 1 line edit.

Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version.

Version 1.1 of the plugin has now been released.

It contains more detailed instructions on how to find your aweber account id.

It looks like the AWeber interface has changed. To find the unit:

1. Click on the Web Forms menu
2. Click on the Get HTML option that corresponds to the form you are trying to add.
3. Click on “Raw HTML Version”.
4. The required variables will be shown in the HTML code.

I will update the plugin with more accurate instructions too.

Here is the response from AWeber support:

The Settings menu is available for those who are on the Analytics package. It is possible that the account is still on the old package, which doesn’t have that option. Installing Web Analytics like article #523 refers to is only available for those who have the Analytics package.

They can simply contact us by email or phone to request an upgrade. They will need to confirm their login and password to do so.

So if you don’t have the Reports -> Settings menu option, you will need to contact AWeber to have your account upgraded to the new package that includes analytics.

I will update the plugin explaining this too.

It seems like Aweber has changed their interface without updating their documentation.

I have just logged into our Aweber account, and I’ve been unable to find the screen that lists the account id.

I have contacted Aweber, and will update this thread once they tell me how to get the AWeber Email Web analytics Account ID.

I had the same problem, and fixed it by modifying one line in the plugin.

Hopefully the developer will add the fix to the next version of the plugin.

Hi Johnny, good to hear you got it working in the end.

akabin: yes, I have similar problems with both the sidebar widget and the full sized calendar.

In firefox, the error console shows the following error message:

Error: ecd.jq("#events-calendar-1-1Large").tooltip is not a function

Do you get the same error message?

I have tried deactivating all plugins (except events calendar), but the problem still occurs.

I have been emailing the plugin’s developer back and forward, but we haven’t been able to solve it. He wanted me to send him a copy of the wp-content directory (or ideally the whole site), but I am unable to do so at the moment.

I recommend you check out Timmy’s comments here, and also Heirem’s comment.

If you were able to email him more details (and a zip of your wp-content directory), then he may be able to help solve the problem.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

We are looking into the best way to allow a user to edit only their own page.

ie basically let someone sign up, and we assign them a single page, and all they can do is edit that page. They can’t do any blog posts or edit any settings, etc.

Have you had any luck fixing the problem?

I upgraded to 6.5.2 recently and the calendars (widget and large calendar) are no longer displaying all my events. It only displays 1 event (from yesterday).

The next and previous month buttons are also gone.

Try looking in the wp_postmeta table.

Each uploaded image has a wp_posts record with a post_type of “attachment”.

Each of these wp_posts record should have a corresponding wp_postmeta record with a meta_key of _wp_attachment_metadata.

The meta_value for this record contains a (serialized) array of data relating to the uploaded image.

You probably want the value of $array[sizes][thumbnail][file]

The end result should be the same, however using a plugin would mean you don’t have to edit the theme.

I would personally use a plugin instead of editing the theme’s file, especially if the theme you’re using is one that’s written by a third party and may be updated by them in the future.
