In the last month my site has 404 and 500 codes on comments and now even if i try to look at posts…..

The site is a hosted site….

I get a ton of error massages from the server….

Any ideas?

This maybe resolved for you….

But the Safari issue is STILL out there….

FY!….

You can drag and drop from Firefox…..

You STILL can’t paste from Safari or Firefox…..

NO ONE seems to give a hoot about the problem and I guess other wp users don’t want to speak up like a blogger who used to doing IS….

I can now drag and drop images for my posts from Firefox….

Maybe….Just maybe someone will try to help the Safari browser user….

Then Maybe they won’t…..

Ok…..with 3.9.1

Now you can drag text/images from outside your blog text box to it without getting the grey drag and drop grey screen…..

but the text box won’t hold the dragged text…..
BTW the ticket for this is #28176

I run a blog….politicaldog10. com….
up to 3.9 I could drag and drop images on my mac using safari…..
after 3.9 I cannot do so….
I have been complaining as have others that the TinyMCE or whatever upgrade has made that action impossible…
I have been told (As have others) to be patient…
I have been for a couple of weeks….
But I STILL cannot highlight a image…drag it into my text box…let it go..and whaLA!
have the image in the post….
It’s annoying….
I am told maybe 3.9.2
I get to see EVERYONE getting excited about 4.0 while me and others are told to sit on on our hands without images in our posts….

I love wp….
But this issue is getting short changed…..

3.9.1 has just been released……

We’re STILL waiting for the fix for drag and drop due out in 3.9.1……

I know they are starting to talk about 4.0 already….

But how about fixing what we have wrong now?

I DO realize that doing Everything you guys/gals do IS to make the wp systems work as good as it does….

I have been blogging since 2009 and despite my annoyance with this issue I LOVE wp…..

It’s just that most bloggers that use drag and drop find the bug VERY Much a Pain….

In some of the forums people have lost their ability to actually run their blogs….I can still post but it just takes more work…

Again Props to you and all the others that make the system as great as it is….But sometimes problems REALLY do make people mad….

We’ll have More Happiness come Monday or Tuesday….

It IS annoying to hear from people being dismissive of THIS Drag and Drop issue….

I offer NO apologies for bringing it UP AGAIN….

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM…

The crazy thing is I have Lenovo laptop running Safari and There I can still drag and drop….I us that to drop a few images into posts …BUT IT IS NOT the solution…

I see over in the Developer Forums that there IS a wp 3.9.1 due to come out at anytime with TinyMCE fixes (A LOT of them) …

Until then ?
We who have been cut out of the drag and drop access by the GRAY SHADED window have to wait….
And do a slow burn with ‘Progress’…..

I’ve worked the problem….

I’m following the NEW download instructions….

My problem was in Safari….
The Apple browser does not store pictures as url’s….
The new wp system is partial to the url storage system …

It does NOT work with the Apple system….

I would guess Apple would have to do a adjustment or someone would have to do a a Apple Plugin for wp drag and drop wp 3.9…..

I have a blog and updated to wp 3.9….

On my blog I used do a lot of cut and past text and images in safari….

with the upgrade I ‘m stumped….

I can only cut and past text….Not images…any attempt to do either thru drag and drop gives me a gray shade over the text box in the add new post window….

will your plugin restore the old drag and paste feature for text and images?
