Yes, I saw the same problem two weeks ago -but it was solved after deactivating and deleting the plugin and reistalling it again. Rare. Nice work guys with WPdiscuz!

Hi Prometheus, the same for me -no method allowed to set a non-expired cookie after closing the session. Login With Ajax doesn’t work for this, unless you login by the standard WordPress method and check the ‘Remember Me’ option.

After an intense test over our WPdiscuz installation with spanish translated phrases, the plugin works now like a charm!! All the emails notifications are been sent, both to the authors and subscribed commenters.

Perhaps this is a small bug: when you are over the page, after two or three comments sent, you get sometimes this alert “SyntaxError: Unexpected token C”. Also this string is not included in the available list of phrases.

Great! Tested with the english installation and works really nice. Great update also, with the plural string and the separated strings panel.

Thanks, guys. For more light about the issue, we’re checking now with another comments email notification plugin (‘Subscribe to Comments Reloaded’) and all is working like a charm.

We changed also the transactional email delivery to Mailchimp SMTP servers (‘Mandrill’).

Oops, too many unsolved problems: we checked the mail log (tail -f mail.log and tail -f mailerror.log) and we can see that only the first subscription email is fired.

We can see in the logs that WPdiscuz is not triggering any notification emails after subscription. And also, the admin/post author is never noticed about the comments. By the way, if we deactivate WPdiscuz, the admin/post author is correctly notified.

We have also checked potential plugin incompatibilities of WPdiscuz with our other plugins, deactivating all but WPdiscuz -the situation is the same, no notifications for anybody.

Great plugin, but this makes it totally useless for us… Thanks anyway.

Thanks Jason, we will check the server logs, as we should have the email log already installed. And we’ll wait also for the reply from the WPdiscuz developpers.

Thanks Jason -in fact, we needed to change PHPmail for SMTP to get emails delivered to Gmail. But we don’t have more details to inspect. What tool did you use to check the spam score? Thanks
