    Hi Mike,

It seems to be ok after waiting for a while.

I can see the “calculate shipping” option.

I will keep working on the shipping zones and I am good for now.

Thank you very much for all your help.

    Great support.

    Cheers,

    Hi Mike,

I am still not clear why two browsers show different checkout scenarios although I cleared cache in both browsers.

    Thanks,

    Hi Mike,

With the setting “No location by default”, I changed from Safari to Firefox and now it shows neither any shipping zone nor the shipping methods of the top zone.

However, in Safari, I am still seeing the shipping methods of the top shipping zone although I cleared the history and under status–>tools , “I cleared transient”.

An other idea what is missing in my settings?

    Thanks,
    CKing

    Hi Mike,

There is no option such as “no address” under “default Customer Location”. I changed it to “No location by default” and I still see the issue.

Also, when I define the following shipping methods for the top zone:
    1) Flat Rate
    2) Local Pickup
    3) Free Shipping
and give free shipping a minimum amount of, say $10, it shows me all three option at checkout although the amount in the cart is over $35. I thought it would automatically select free shipping.

When I increase the minimum amount to $50, it still shows me the three above options with radio buttons. In this case, customers would of course select “free shipping” as nobody wants to pay for the shipping.

Also, I have disabled all other plugins related to Woocommerce to make sure that they cause the problem.

    Thanks for the help,
    CKing

    Hi Mike,

I have tried the following two options for the “default customer location” and there is no change:
    1) Geolocate
    2) Shop base address.

    Thanks,
    CKing

    Hi Mike,

Thank you for your quick response.

I am not logged in. I just go to the shop page as an anonymous shopper, add something to the cart, click view Cart and proceed to checkout and it then shows me just the top zone.

    I have the following zones:
    US Zone 1: states …
    US Zone 2: states …
    US Zone 3: states …

    ….

    It always selects Zone 1.

If I move, e.g. US Zone 3 to the top on the list, it then selects US Zone 3.

    Your help is appreciated.

    Thank you,
    CKing

    Hi DuoGeek,

Thanks for getting back to me but I couldn’t wait and switched to another plugin “email before download”.

    Hi dtynan,

Is there any option in this plugin to notify via email the subscribers, who have previously downloaded some free products, about new uploads?

    Thanks,
    CKing

    Hi dtynan,

I think I found a way to solve the issue.

I checked the source code of the “email before download” plugin and noticed that [your-message] shortcode is being used (in email-before-download.php file).

So, changed the shortcode in cf7 for the message provided by the user from “[your-message]”, as I was using initially, to “[your-body-message] and everything is working perfectly (at least for now -:)).

    Thank you for the help,

    Hi dtynan,

Everything works great except one issue with [your-message]. I have tested “contact form 7” plugin independently and it works as it should be but when I use it with “email before download” plugin, the message body [your-message] is overwritten with a text containing the name of the file to be downloaded (see below).

Let me try to explain it:
    1) here is my contact 7 configuration:
    A) for section:

    <p>Your Name (required)<br />
        [text* your-name] </p>

    <p>Your Email (required)<br />
        [email* your-email] </p>

    <p>Your Phone number (required)<br />
        [tel* Your-phone-number] </p>

    <p>Your Company (required)<br />
        [text* your-company] </p>

    <p>Subject<br />
        [text your-subject] </p>

    <p>Your Message (required) <br />
        [textarea* your-message] </p>

    <p>[submit "Sumbit"]</p>

And the mail section is configured as follows:
    B) Mail

    From: [your-name]
    Email: [your-email]
    Subject: [your-subject]
    Phone Number: [Your-phone-number]
    Company Name: [your-company]
    Message : [your-message]

    ------------------------------------
This e-mail was sent from a contact form on CKing Sensors LLC (https://ckingsensors.com/ckingblogs)

As mentioned above, when I just use the contact form, I get an email with the content as the user has entered and nothing is overwritten.

Here is now the problem I have when I use the plugin “email before download”:
the message section “[your-message]” is overwritten with something like this:
The downloaded file name(s): xxxx yyyy zzzz

I would like to have the message that the user entered when he was filling out the form.

I checked all my settings and they seem to be ok.

    Thanks for the help,
    CKing

    Hi,

I also have an error message as follows:

Warning: extract() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/xxxxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/email-to-download/app/lib/dg-builder/builder_controller.php on line 36

    Thanks for the help,

    Hi dtynan,
(sorry I mistyped your name earlier -:( )!

It is working the way you described.

I have a problem with the mail section in the contact form though.

When the email is sent, I can see the message in message body, the fields I have added (phone # and company name).

Do you know what the issue could be?

    Thank you,
    CKing

    Thank you, Matt!

I selected “disable” for “firewall status” and saved it but the message still shows up.

It is not a big deal and we just wait till you release the new update.

    Cheers,
    Cking
