Thanks so much, the site is [ redundant link removed ] and the blog is /blog/ I have just dumped the blog for now and am considering just page a page for each year of reflections. Trying to get the blog to behave is a seriously frustrating task and my friend won’t miss it as he has never had one.

Got it! I have another question if you would indulge me. I now have my blog page perfected. It’s exactly the way I want it. My template is pointing to it, but when I do a new post, it’s somehow picking up either part of the formatting or an old version of the blog page. The layout should be coming from the Blog page, shouldn’t it?

Thank you SO much! I use duplicate page on the Pages all the time. It never occurred to me that there would be a version for Posts. I am going to go get it right now! ??

Somewhere, working through the steps you gave me, the problem was corrected. I so very much appreciate your help! Now, with Woo Commerce back to normal, I am probably looking forward to a few years of smooth sailing. It has been very reliable with an occasional problem, likely user caused.

Thank you but we are not quite getting there. I can seem to add menus all over the place, but I want to add to the menu that is automatically on the WordPress Home page, not add a second menu. Is this possible?
