I have one question here:

NPM Build run is compossery if we are using ESNext method?

In the docs they are not provide to run NPM build run command.

I think you need to check with WordPress default theme.

Also, please clear cache your browser.

I think I have a cache issue. I have clear browser cache then check it is working perfectly.
