I had to reinstall my blog and start over. I edited the file you said to edit, made the change but it’s not working. It opens the link in a new tab and plays the mp3. I don’t understand because I did what you suggested before and it worked. There is only one entry for the href mp3 in that file correct?

If anyone is looking here is the fix for the plugin :

I followed these steps:

open the javascript file here:
/wp-content/plugins/wpaudio-mp3-player/wpaudio.min.js

Search for href$=.mp3 and replace by href$=”.mp3″

(ie. add the quotation marks before/after .mp3)

I can not for the life of me find that line in the wpaudio.min.js file. (Update) I found the entry ……works like a charm. Thank you so much!!!
