Thanks. I was afraid of that as I can’t the cost right now ??
I guess I can use a plugin that may ease the pain of going through each post to correct the links.

    Hello

I resolved this issue by installing the plugin ‘manageable’ and doing a quick edit of my posts.

I forgot. If I use a custom structure will it cause all of my posts that I imported to go to 404’s?

Thanks for all your help. I have everything reset to zero. And I’ll be careful of which plugins I install. I guess one can go kinda crazy installing plugins that aren’t really essential. I’m one of those people ?? but I’ll install only what is useful. Thanks again to you Mac and Camu ….

I’m using Disqus but logging in to comment is optional. So I’ve disabled tracking of logged in users.
    Thanks

I have set track users to no ….thanks.

Mac am I to understand only those who are registered to my blog/site can view the stats? As for logged in I don’t quite follow you. I have wp admin bar installed. Is that visible to visitors? what about those who have blogs at wp .com? could they use the admin bar to login?

Thanks Mac …I’m getting closer to getting my blog straightened out and am learning much along the way thanks to you and Camu and Samuel ??

Do webmasters generally set sites not to track logged in users?

Thanks so much, you’ve been very kind. I tracked it down to the ‘my live signature’ plugin. For some reason it was affecting my images that appear on the excerpts and in my posts(does that make sense?)

I don’t mind the learning experience. I didn’t give thought to conflicts with plugins. I’m always up for learning and challenges.
Once I get everything straight I might actually get to do some blogging ??

That doesn’t concern me as much because I think it’s just as valuable to open the hood and get your hands dirty. That’s the attitude I had when learning to use Linux.
I really appreciate your patience Mac …thanks again!

I set it so admin is filtered. It was already set not to track logged in users. What concerns me is ‘Who can view the reports’ If this field is empty, all users (but subscribers) will have access to the reports.

‘Who can manage these options’ if this field is empty, all users (but subscribers) will have access to the options panel.

Does that mean whoever visits my site can view my stats?
I don’t know how to filter my IP as it is dynamic.

Man I’m so confused ….I want to use slimstat. I also use Google Analytics and Woopra ….what I want to do is reset all three to zero and start over. I’m waiting to hear from woopra support because it is also tracking my stats as is GA. Is there a way to zero out GA?
    Thanks

Thanks for your reply ….I don’t understand how can it track my IP?
Does slim stat track my movement if I’m looking through my posts on my frontpage? I will try to get a screen shot to you. I’m sure I don’t have 400 hits. I’m using Woopra and it doesn’t show any number close to slimstat. I like slimstat as it is very in depth.

Thank you ….You have me on the right track …the images are no longer showing the size and other related info to the images. I apologize for over reacting Mac, but it seems like something is failing daily. I deactivated all plugins as I said the first good sign is my images have been corrected.

I setup custom permalinks, does it mean I have to go and change all my posts from the previous permalink to the new settings?
Something is going on with my image captions.
My stats say I have 446 hits ….when I know that’s not true.
Man I wish I knew what is going on.

I want to thank you very much for all the assistance you’ve provided me on this. I greatly appreciate it. I consider this thread resolved. My friend is being overly cautious I think. I suggested as was mentioned perhaps Webroot is turning up a false positive. To answer your questions no one I know has experienced unwanted re-directs, or pop-ups. I think my friend is solely insisting on a malicious link based on Webroot. With the help I’ve received in this thread I’m convinced my site is healthy. Thanks again Clayton and Samuel.
As an unrelated side note, I’ve not posted any new content since the move from .com, however I’m learning a great deal about the wp software. I relate it to jumping from MS windows to Linux which is such a great learning experience. Not that I was really a big fan of MS, I’ve always been a Mac and Linux person. Cheers!

Sorry for the post. I think I have resolved the issue by making a change in the theme settings.
