I could use the HTML editor in the dashboard. Ok, so i need to figure out how to prevent search engines from using my tagline as a description. This is where my problem is.

I’m getting this from Attracta seo score. How can you tell, and where do I look for meta descriptions for my pages, or the absence of a meta description?

I think I added the plugin the day before yesterday.

Where do i add meta descriptions for my pages?

I know I go in and add a description for my posts, and add keywords, and that stumps me as well since my seo plugin is set to dynamically add them.

I’m just really confused about meta tags. I mean I know what they are but I don’t understand where to make the changes. It’s frustrating.

    Thanks Sweeper.

I’m using Genesis framework with the Georgia child theme. The only place I see the header.php file is in Genesis. Do I make the change there?

I just looked at the Genesis header.php and it say’s under no circumstance make changes to this file.

Would I make the change to the style sheet for the child theme?

Can someone tell me what should load time look like with WP super cache? Mine are like 2.5 to 3.5 seconds.
I looked at pro blogger and load time there are 0.6 seconds
I’m using Genesis framework which is optimized for speed and I use Blue Host …I don’t know seems like my blog is slow to load

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but the WP super cache plugin doesn’t work for me. I looed at the page source and the time stamps are different when I load pages, is that how it should be?
Let me say I’m using Woopra and Google Analytics which both have java scripts? I’m using disqus….recent comments java script?
    I’m using publitweet java script….

Also when using the plugin after my page loads in the lower left corner of my browser it say’s ‘transferring data from bloggingperspectivesdaily. Why would it still be transferring data if the page is loaded?

I want to unistall wp super cache do I have to make any changes to the .htaccess file?

    Hello Again

I reset my stats. Now I notice I have 31 hits ….no human visitors.
    31 bots. What is that?
    Thanks

I see what you mean, but what I’m trying to do is have the home link included in my main list, that is not in a custom list. When I try to do that there is no way to have the home page appear anyway else but in the the very first slot. If I create a page with the tile Home in a custom list it asks for a link, I enter the link for my home page but it sends that page somewhere else not to my front page.

What I’m trying to do is just use an existing menu type and have the home link show up not in the first slot. the way it is now:
home – about – contact – other articles – translations

    What I want
about – contact – home – other articles – translations

I think I understand but how can I re-order them so they appear in this order About – Contact -Home – Other Articles – Translation

Cache hits to this website for quick access
Use mod_rewrite to serve cache files
Compress pages so they’re served more quickly to visitors
Don’t cache pages for known users
    Mobile device support.
Preload mode (garbage collection only on legacy cache files

These are the options I have set. It seems after my page loads using super cache it still says in the lower left of the firefox browser “transferring data from bloggingperspectives daily”

With these options I don’t really see much difference than not using the plugin. Is this normal? Or should I see a big difference with the plugin? Thanks

    Happeh

I selected the recommended choices in the advanced section. The plugin was activated and enabled. I didn’t do what you mention here, but I find my site loads a lot faster without it. I’ll try what you’ve asked here.
