In reply to: WP 2.5 Write Panel Usability@ jackuul – I actually did think about that. But I knew that people were going to follow the old links, too. I wanted people to upgrade to 2.5.1 because of the security fix, and so I didn’t want people downloading the old version of the hack. I’d have to take that down. And then the old links would be broken. So this seemed the easiest way to make sure that everyone got the right version.
Besides, I’m lazy. ??
Well – how ’bout a simple html page that says “Latest Version blah blah blah” instead of a direct file link – thus folk will say “Yay, latest version!”

Vanquish the lazy! Oh… I haven’t update my blog since April.

Seriously, mind posting in a common grammar-friendly way? It’s not to hard to ask to at least speak plainly and with some punctuation.
The two header graphics are useless, but, without the big one you would not see Bob. Secondly – originally the top bar was just text… so I guess Bob was added to spice it up. Bob also demands your children for his sweatshop sneaker factory biblicone. He demands them, and a six pack ?? Thanks for good feeedback biblicone.

In reply to: WP 2.5 Write Panel Usabilityjabecker, may I make a minor suggestion?
The naming scheme of the file you have for download might be better if, lets say, the first hack you put up was 1.0 for 2.5, then for 2.5.1. you could give it the designation of 1.0.1 as it is a minor update. That way the version is known, and thus we know if it is updated ??
Example
show-draft-title-1_0.zip
show-draft-title-1_0_1.zip
show-draft-title-1_0_2.zip
etcetera as changes are made.
Major changes to it could then be listed as 1_1_0 and such.Just a suggestion. An alternate way would be show-draft-title-wp2_5_1 and later on show-draft-title-wp2_5_2 and so on.
I’ll go back to my cave now >.>

In reply to: WP 2.5 Write Panel UsabilityBah humbug. I’ll take a broken link if it makes my panel look pretty again.
Otherwise you could compare code from this a 2.5.0 and see what was changed, that way you could self-update without breaking anything.
Anyways, it works on my blogs. I just wish 2.5 wasn’t so retarded. It is – it is retarding my ability to enjoy WordPress.

I am glad to know at least one person agrees with me@gangleri
Thank you for looking, that is most kind of you ??That looks nice… but – I want my old one back, as similar as possible. Do you know of any others?
I just really really really detest this new panel. I can’t even sit and write with it now…

In reply to: 2.5 admin backend annoyingI’d like to downgrade – or have an opt-in for the old dashboard? You know, like… “Click Here for the Old Dashboard”
This new one… everything is so freaking small and I have no clue where all my stuff is now. I really would like my old dashboard back without downgrading – otherwise I’ll stick to the previous version’s line and not budge until hackers and script kiddies finally get the best of me.
