If I remember right, with v2.1.3 of wordpress, you have to install the widget plugin.

It didn’t get merged into the code until 2.2.

Take a look at Dashboard -> Options -> Discussion and turn off the options for moderation.

What plugin and can you please provide a link so we can see what is occurring?

Anything in the webservers error logs?

Can you please provide some details as to what you’ve done and are seeing?

And what plugin are you discussing? Details would also be a plus as, please remember, you’re the only one who can see what is occuring.

How about some details? You’ve not given us anything to go on nor specifically told us what has occurred. Can’t help much unless you give us something to work with instead of general bitching. Might even want to say ‘please’ once in a while.

It’s calling out to ask.com for some reason. Is it doing this with a plugin? If so, you may want to turn it off. That’s not a normal function of wordpress to call ask.com.

The problem is that you’re loading the driver for each and every one of the videos. That’s what’s slowing it down. The video doesn’t load until you click on the video and start playing it. Still loading the embed drivers though.

And may even be crashing visitor’s browsers as well if they’re using an older browser or don’t have enough memory.

May want to suggest moving the video into the post and out of the main page. You have a more tag within your browser that will divide your post. The button is either labeled with ‘more’ or it looks like two sheets of paper with a line between them. Just put the video code after that more tag and it will load after your visitor clicks through into the post.

Might help if you mentioned some method of contacting you.
