Thank you, Basha. I couldn’t wait any longer so I changed to the Pro Version of the theme. I’m no longer using the theme with this problem.

NOTE: I could not resolve this issue, so I removed the gold background from the block above the footer. The gap over the footer is still present, but it’s less noticeable now.

Resolved — It’s a facebook scraping issue. I went to the developer debugger page and had my site re-scraped.

Thank you, @plimfec. I’ll try this. I usually install themes directly within my WordPress dashboard instead of downloading, but this sounds do-able.

Interesting! When you say you can edit javascript files directly inside WordPress, do you mean there’s a tool within my WordPress dashboard? Or, do I look for a javascript file in the account control center for my web host?

That’s great news. I just saw a recent post by another user who learned that his Himilayas site didn’t work with PHP 8, so I wondered whether the theme was still in beta form.

I had this problem also. The hamburger menu did not work correctly until I deactivated all my plugins. Now I’m slowly adding plugins one at a time. I think the culprit might have been the WordPress Jetpack app — I have not added that yet, and the hamburger menu still works. My site is https://jackiecraven.com. I’m using a Mac, iPad, and iPhone.

I have deactivated the plugins one at a time, and tested the site, jackiecraven.com, on my iPhone. The mobile menu still does not work consistently. At first the links work, but after clicking through the site and returning to the home page, the links stop working. To get the links to work, I need to refresh the page.

No, the Additional Options choices are: Related Posts, Author Bio Option, Hide Blog Posts from the Front Page, and Excerpts or Full Posts Option.

Nidwija, I’m not able to find the Himalayas Typography Options or Google Font Options. The options on my Customize menu are: Site Identity, Header Media, Menus, Widgets, Homepage Settings, Additional CSS, Himalayas Header Options, Himalayas Slider Options, Himalayas Design Options, and Himalayas Additional Options. I’ve looked in each of these categories, but Typography isn’t listed. Is there a plugin I need to install?

Nidwija, there are no “Typography Options” in the Customize menu for my version of the Himalayas theme. Is there a CSS command that would allow me to change the header type font?
