In reply to: Permissions and user ownership problems when uploadingJust want to let you know that the permissions are definitely the issue. I had the same thing happen when the hosting company changed their permissions on the server. Took me two days to fathom out. Once the permissions were changed all worked perfectly. However, I had to really fight to get the hosting company to admit that was the issue and help me.

In reply to: Ongoing issue with image upload unresolvedI also have this issue. The image loads without a problem, but is not visible as a thumbnail and also not when placed in a post. When I go into the media gallery and click on edit image, the image is then visible but the thumbnail still doesn’t appear.
When I check the link for the image I get an error message “Access denied” which I do not get when checking the url links for other images in the media library although there is no significant difference in the url’s at all.
This is a brand new issue. The blog has been up for several months and I’ve never had such a problem before. I need to resolve this urgently. Any help would be much appreciated.

In reply to: [Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] wp_footer not calledHello
please can you help me? I have gone through all this and still don’t see any google analytics code anywhere.
I have gone into the theme editor and put <?php wp_footer(); ?> ahead of whatever code is in this file. There is no <body> tag in the code in this file.
I tested the page and still saw the footer appear as it had before.
Then I pasted in the google analytics code between the <?php wp_footer(); ? and the rest of the code in this file. The footer still looked the same and I don’t see any google analytics code anywhere.
I am stuck – what do I do? I don’t know html and I’m not sure where to go from here.
