I know this is closed. but the solution is not provided. I faced the same problem, but found the problem is an extra record in the wp_postmeta table with key: “_elementor_data” and the product description is stored inside the json in the value field.
I tested that if I create a new product I don’t have this problem, the problem happens only with sample products preloaded with the theme I use. If I create a new product, no “_elementor_data” record is created for such products.
Not sure you problem is same as mine, but hope it shed some lights on your problem.
