Argh. It’s hard to fix what I can’t see! Can you give me more info, miklb? Does the text in the left column appear too wide? Or is the left column narrower than the right column? Does the text in the left column appear centered? Thanks!

Never mind. I couldn’t find any info on this anywhere, so I cloned the part of the get_calendar function that returns the month/year and set it up as a new function that takes the ImageHeadlines format string as an argument. Then I hid the regular calendar month/year via css. Works fine.

    Anybody???

I’m taking this as a “no.” Anybody with a better head than mine willing to work on it?

Oops. I really meant for those not to be links. Sorry about that.

My site is skinable, and most of the styles are fluid to some degree. I have some three-column styles with the side columns to left and right, and some with both side columns on the right. Then there’s one with only one side column and the items in the second side column eliminated.
The styles called “Black And White” and “Mommy Monster” are completely fluid. The other styles with columns to either are semi-fluid, with fixed side columns and a fluid center. The styles with the columns on the right are not fluid at all. Most of these look fine across various browsers and are more or less compliant.
I’ve considerably hacked my index.php in order to make it three columns.
In playing around with all of these styles, what I found was that it wasn’t hard to have two or three columns and a footer if the side columns were static. But it was hard to have two columns and a footer with the side columns both the same length and everything fluid. Better heads than mine may have solved these problems.

    Thanks for answering.
Yes, it’s there and it’s in the loop. I didn’t make any changes to index.php.
It’s true that my index.php is a bit hacked up, so to test it I uploaded a standard WP index.php. The post text still doesn’t show.
I tried uploading all of WP again to a different directory in my site. The post text shows there. You can see it at:

It has to be something besides index.php but I can’t find anything that changed today.
How is the post text pulled in to the page? Maybe I need to look at replacing those functions. I don’t want to do a wholesale replace everything because I have a lot of customized stuff.
    Thanks again!
