Clearing the cache didn’t do anything for me. Pretty annoying.

thanks, this was happening to me too. I figured it had to be a text encoding issue but had no clue what it was. Hopefully they’ll figure out a way to make this a little more friendly – I’m assuming a good number of people editing these files on a Mac are running into this problem.

same issue here… I really don’t need the ‘uncategorized’ category at all –?especially when it’s not even smart enough to turn itself off when other categories are applied! And unfortunately the bulk edit function won’t detect if categories are applied, so you can’t use it to remove categories from posts this way… *sigh*..

I’m getting this same error and not sure how to fix it. I’m thinking it has something to do with an installation of cforms but it could also be an additional conflict with something else…

Looks like it works fine when only the code editor is available (Use the visual editor when writing unchecked), but if the visual editor is even available, it automatically converts code even if no adjustments are made in the wysiwyg window. This isn’t a huge deal for me since I have no need for the wysiwyg editor, but it still seems like part of the bug persists.
