HOW DO I UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THE HUNDREDS OF SPAM POSTS I AM GETTING PLEASE?

I WISH THAT I HAD NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO A TOPIC AS SO FAR TODAY I HAVE BEEN SPAMMED WITH OVER 60 POSTS

I wish this WordPress forum WOULD STOP SPAMMING ME WITH DOZENS OF TOPICS I HAVE NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO! how can I complain? Anyone else having the same trouble?

TICKET IS CLOSED AND I CANNOT FIND ANYWAY OF COMPLAINING! aaarrgghhh

Why am I getting posts about this topic when I am NOT subscribed to it????

I subscribed to one topic too and got my question answered and I understand the unsubscribe link has been broken now for over a month (that’s when I first tried to unsubscribe) but I am getting TONS of emails about topics I am not even interested in. I have just come back off holiday and I have dozens of emails from the forum in my inbox! PLEASE FIX IT ASAP

Yes I am getting the same. I subscribed to 1 topic and tried to unsubscribe afterwards but am now getting spammed with all sorts of topics I am not even interested in!

Can someone pLEASE tell me how to unsubscribe as I am getting emails from all sorts of forums that I have never signed up to?

I have been trying to unsubscribe using the link on the left of the page but it does not work.

Someone please tell me how to unsubscribe to all these notifications after my question has been answered! I keep unsubscribing on the left hand column but it doesnt work!

Oh George you are the cats whiskers! Yes you hit the nail on the head I must have deleted the hyphen thinking it was there in error but as soon as I put it back it validates and sends!

Many many thanks for your reply and yes it does hide the ‘message box’ but sadly the form will not ‘send’ and I get a pop up box saying “All fields required.” I presume the validator is still expecting the ‘message’ box (although hidden) to have content?

In the WP Maintenance Mode Plugin folder assets / js there is a file titled “jquery.validate.js” but I have absolutely NO IDEA if this is the right file to amend or even how to amend it?
