Try the plugins CKEditor(more recent versions) or Dean’s FCKEditor and forget the native visual editor of WordPress. It solves all problems with your visual editor.

Various themes has similar problem with the sidebar(s), when running under IE. The positions is Ok on the Firefox, but the sidebar(s) moves down(end of the page) when under IE.

I suggest you select a theme that don’t do it: Greed-Light, by Small Potatoe is fine. Try it!

I’ll try it (set new users as contributors). But the questions is: “How to publish the post? Is it possible? The write opition is similar to the publish option?
