As you see, both crawlers see the permalinks not only as sirect links, but also as subcategores thus adding /index.html and producing a host of 404 errors.

The hosting company said there was no prob with Apache config.

anybody can help me?
Is there any problem with Apache server that treats permalinks as directories?

Yes of course all the sitemaps are there, my site actully ranks very high in the competitive market, so I was quite surprised to see this.
