This happens to me too. First the sitemap worked, then Google says it is html format. However if I open the sitemap it works normally. What can we do?

My problem was resolved by removing a malware detection plugin. However it may not be the same as your problem.

Now all is ok!

My version works – apart from the fact that it doesn’t show up in the post editor (just the title of the widget, nothing else).

Any suggestions?
