The role of Librarian (and any other custom roles) is very logical from your part and correct. I was not saying that these roles are wrong, I was only saying that the admin also could have access as well.

For example now that I am setting up the site it would be helpful if I, logged as an admin can actually manage the site and the library while doing tests.

That is all. No problem though, I will add the capabilities to the admin role.

Thanks anyway for the work you have done. I will use this system for a very important project so you are really saving me with this. I will put a good review if everything works out.

First of all thx for the answer in such a short time.

Sorry but it is the first time that a plugin I use hides all of the options from the admin role and it felt very strange since all users will be admins when they install it. This combined with the notices in debug mode I thought there was an issue. Also as I said in the plugin’s description is says 3.5.2. These are 3 very logical reasons to think that something may be going wrong.

Also I downloaded the manual “Web Librarian Plugin User Manual – Robert Heller – May 21, 2014” and I could not find a FAQ there, neither a mention on the menu issue. you only say that the Librarian is a different role than the administrator.

I think that the above were logical and many steps before I decided to write here, especially when you say RTFM and the TFM does not have the problem I was looking for.

– My WP installation is in a different folder than the root.

– I know that in your plugin description you say that it works up to 3.5.2, but I have found that these are sometimes outdated.

One more info. Where the plugin would appear the only thing I find is this:
<div class=”shr-publisher-35608″></div>

The DIV is empty as you can see as nothing is generated. 35608 is the post ID I believe.

Unfortunately after fiddling with the plugins for some time nothing came out of it.

Deactivated all of them but with no change/

I still have the new mode on.

Any suggestions for further debugging?

I have tried the plugins that you mentioned with no luck.

Actually I have removed all related code to Post Thumb and replaced it with the Get The Image plugin which I was already using.

Any suggestions on what othr plugins I should try? Or should I just go for all of them?

No change unfortunately.

Added to that it now has some problems giving me a green light for Load Time Optimized even if I resave. Actually it doen’t give me a green light unless I go to the new version.

The result is the same in FF5 and Chrome.

I have left the plugin in the new version so you can inspect the code and maybe see something. Pls let me know because I need to get it back to working ??

I have a similar problem. I had it actually for some time (at lest 2 previous versions I believe) and still have. I have manually placed the plugin, but when I switch the new mode on the plugin just dissappers. I have done some light debugging but nothing came out of it. Do you have any suggestions?

Also after an update (not the last) it doesn’t align properly as well.

Currently new mode is switched off.

The site is https://www.comicdom.gr and the plugin is placed in the home page and in single posts.

Same issue. Cumulus does not load in IE8, but loads smoothly in FF.

And I have no parsing errors at all. The page is validated.

It was the sIFR script used to replace common fonts with more “exotic”

Just disabled it to work with Greek
