i have the same problem, and testing I have seen that it is a conflict with yoast seo in my case. if I deactivate the plugin, the site works correctly, but if I activate it, the urls are not translated and it creates a 404 error page.

It deactivated my license without giving me time to copy my spined text and I have lost AN incredibly valuable WORK.
