Correcting list of browsers where the header image merges into the page and widget content below. It does this in Chrome and Edge. It looks/works fine on Safari, Firefox, DuckDuckGo, and Brave.
phsboosterclub.org
Hi Rui:
Still having display problems on tablets using Edge or Chrome. Currently, the header is not full width and it is now covering part of the page on any page except the homepage, phsboosterclub.org. You will also note that the top navigation links show on the homepage, but the hamberger on all others.
Works fine on DuckDuckGo.
Rui:
I tried this but the hamburger still shows on Chrome but still showed the “desktop” navigation in all other browsers, which is what I would like regardless of the browser on a tablet.
Thank you.
… I should have added that I am talking about on tablets.
Rui:
That worked perfectly. Another question, if I may.
Is there some code I can add to CSS so that my top-level navigation (text) shows under the header in Chrome, as it does in Edge and Safari – instead of the hamburger?
Thanks!
Using the code you supplied, the page now displays a large black space in between the header and the body of the page on both a phone and tablet (where it did not before).
Thanks again for the help.
To add to my previous reply. The header stretches when holding the phone in “portrait” but displays well in landscape

Hi Rui:
So I changed the image height from 70px to 155px. It now looks fine on the tablet across all browsers, but the header image is stretched too much vertically on phones.
Thanks, Tobias…. have lunch on us!
To add to your reply, this is the css I have, and have had for this table since installing Tablepress. This fluttering behavior is something new.
.tablepress-id-2 .column-1 {
width: 5%;
}.tablepress-id-2 .column-2 {
width: 29%;
}.tablepress-id-2 .column-3 {
width: 66%;
}Ooops, stupid me, Yes. I must have fat-fingered a keystroke inadvertently.
??
Thank you for the quick response.

In reply to: [Slider by Soliloquy - Responsive Image Slider for WordPress] SoliloquyI am no longer able to edit images on the (native) slider. When I click the edit pencil icon, nothing happens. I’ve tried this in both IE 11 and the current version of Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit) on WP version 4.8.
It will allow me to delete existing images and add new ones.
Hi Mans:
I’ve just added some additional information to my original post and, the file is not updated on the server.

In reply to: [WP Accessibility] Header does not show in High Contrast modeOne other question. When I switched to standard image, I noticed that the padding above (but not it) the header image greatly increases versus the background setting. Is there some setting in the plugin to reduce that gap in standard image mode? I’ve looked around for some css tweaks but nothing seems to work.
Note: I’m using the Rookie child theme.
