I’ve set up a child style.css file and have done other edits already. When I inserted that line of code, nothing happened, I’ll try refreshing a few times to see what happens.

Hello, I haven’t been able to create temporary servers to play around with all htis as Joseph suggested. I still have this problem of missing images links on this website.
If anyone has any more suggestions about how to tackle this problem or has experienced a similar problem and solved it, I would love feedback.

In the “TwentyFourteen Content Options” of Customize, the checkbox “Check to hide the sidebar on the blog feed” was checked.
