Thank you for the link to desktopserver. As I mentioned, I am enough of an IT guy to know that I am a novice. After about two hours, I got the server to open and work. Without your paying attention, I would still be struggling with trying to understand Apache…maybe one day. It is true…to get the right solutions, you must ask the right questions. Thanks for the link. I looked at it. Later I am sure I will go through it. For now, I was able to get rid of the slider altogether. The landing page is now ok. I just always wanted a slider across the top. One I could create with Gimp. Still, the theme, “Customizr”, is off the chain! Even without the slider. Thanks again

I am looking for instructions that are unique to the WordPress theme…Customizr. It is not exactly like Twenty-Twelve and the rest. It is quite remarkable. Not easy, however, to get your arms around.

The Customizr theme is awesome! Can the demo slider be edited? If so can anyone point me to the follow the bouncing ball tutorial to change the images?

I was wondering, however, if you have viewed the WP-Creativix and Showcase templates? If so, what do you think of them for pages that are more graphic than text?
