Oh great. Thank you for your help with this. I think that it must be SG Optimizer which I have set to defer render-blocking JS. I have the option of excluding certain scripts with a dropdown selection available – I am not totally sure which ones I should exclude though …anything that mentions woocomerce? Perhaps I would be better off ditching SG Optimizer altogether?

It is showing up now. I’m sorry, not sure if I didn’t spot it in the list before or if tinkering with the settings did it.

Thanks. Just to clarify, the shared links are on the WordPress site itself. They are items in the site’s media library. We want to be able to track how many times they are visited.

Phew. I’ve solved the problem.

I had included a Tablepress table in the page, using a shortcode. This table had a title that was set to display and if I set that to be ignored then the numbering in the Table of Contents goes back to normal.

Thanks for your reply. FAQs is the auto-generated page title and wasn’t set to be excluded. I’m not sure if it’s possible to force it to be included?

NB I also tried hiding the FAQs title, which had no effect.
