The issue concerns these two strings.

Since the esc_html() function was used and not the esc_html__() or esc_html_e() function to avoid prepending echo, these two strings (the second string does not even have a text domain) are not available for translation in the file .POT and on translate.www.remarpro.com.

I am referring to the placeholder string “Enter one password per line” which uses the esc_attr() function and not the esc_attr__() function which allows translation. Then the text domain should also be corrected from ‘wp-protect-password’ to PPW_Constants::DOMAIN.

I would like to point out that for ‘These are absolute FREE to use.’ the string referred to by Loco Translate is the one used in this file with the correct esc_html__() function and not the one in the line I indicated to you (which instead uses the esc_html() function):

As regards the string ‘Promise!’, which has no other occurrences, it is not always identified as translatable because the esc_html() function is used instead of the correct esc_html__() function.

So, if for the ‘Save settings’ string you only need to escape the value with esc_attr(), you can eliminate the second parameter, namely ‘wp-optimize’ which would be the text domain for the translation needed when use esc_attr__() or esc_attr_e().

I deal with translations for WordPress and I was analyzing the source code of this plugin and I noticed that the?esc_attr()?function was used for this string.

I saw that this string (‘Save settings’) indicates the text domain ‘wp-optimize’ and therefore, thinking that it should be translatable, as you surely already know, you need to use the esc_attr__() function and not esc_attr() which does not make the string translatable.
